O Lord,
Your light was never to go out,
Your bread was always before You,
Your Name was to be honored above all.
And I realize You are not only the God of the altar,
but the God of daily presence.
You want me to live in Your light,
to be sustained by Your table,
to speak Your Name with reverence.

I confess, Father, my lamp flickers.
The flame of devotion grows dim.
I let the oil run low with neglect and distraction.
I hunger for bread that does not satisfy,
ignoring the bread You set before me.
And too often I treat Your Name lightly,
speaking it without weight,
living in ways that do not honor it.

Yet You are gracious still.
You give me Christ, the Light of the World,
who never lets the darkness overcome.
You give me the Bread of Life,
broken for me, sustaining me forever.
You give me the Name above every name,
the Name that saves, the Name that keeps me.

So here I am, Lord.
Keep my lamp burning by Your Spirit.
Feed me daily with the bread of Your presence.
Teach me to honor Your Name with every word,
every action, every breath.
Let my life shine with Your light,
be filled with Your bread,
and revere Your holy Name always.

Amen.
