Heavenly Father, Giver of all wisdom,
We stand before You, longing for understanding. Your Word declares "The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out." (Proverbs 18:15)
Lord, make us teachable and humble in spirit, That we may receive instruction and walk in Your ways. When confusion clouds our minds, may we remember "He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." (Proverbs 13:20)
Guard our lips, O God, that we may speak words of grace, Encouraging and uplifting those around us. Let us echo the old hymn "Let others see Jesus in you." Teach us to be slow to anger and quick to listen, Patient in adversity and gracious in correction.
May our hearts be filled with kindness and our actions reflect the gentleness of Christ. Let us walk in wisdom, Lord, not as unwise but as those who discern the times.
Help us to be a light in the darkness, Pointing others to the knowledge of Your truth. For wisdom comes from You alone, And we seek it earnestly,
In Jesus' name, Amen.
