Jesus,
You ask me, “Who do you say that I am?”
I wrestle with this question deep within my soul.
In the noise and confusion of life,
I want to answer with conviction
You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Help me hold firm to this truth,
especially when doubts creep in,
when the world whispers lies to shake my faith.
Thank You for revealing Yourself to me,
for not leaving me wandering lost in shadows.
You are my rock, my foundation.
I want to build my life on You
not on shifting sands of fear or failure.
But Jesus, You also call me to a costly faith
to deny myself, take up my cross, and follow You.
I confess the weight of this call it is hard.
It means surrendering my plans, my pride, my comfort.
It means facing rejection, pain, and sacrifice.
Strengthen me to say yes to You, no matter the cost.
When the road is steep, when my soul grows weary,
help me cling to Your promise that following You leads to life
true, eternal life.
Forgive me for the times I’ve chosen safety over obedience,
for when I’ve put my own desires before Your will.
Create in me a heart of boldness and surrender,
one that embraces the cross as the path to glory.
You promise to build Your church, and the gates of hell will not prevail.
I take refuge in this power and protection.
Guard my heart from the enemy’s attacks,
and keep me steadfast in faith and love.
Jesus, I declare You as my Lord and Savior.
Let my life be a living confession
rooted deep in You, alive in Your Spirit,
walking courageously in Your footsteps.
In Your mighty and merciful name,
Amen
