Lord God,
You are the God of unfinished victories,
the One who calls Your people to rise
when they have lingered too long in comfort.
The land lay before Israel
promised, prepared, purchased by Your power
and yet, seven tribes had not claimed their inheritance.
You asked them through Joshua,
“How long will you put off going in to take possession
of the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?”
You are not a God of delay.
You are the God who awakens slumbering faith
and stirs Your people to action.

You are the God who awakens us to claim the unclaimed.
Your promises are not for passive hearts.
You invite us to take hold of what grace has already secured.
You do not bless hesitation;
You bless holy initiative.
You remind us that promise is potential
until faith moves its feet.
The land was already given,
but it waited for obedience to occupy it.

I confess, Lord,
that I too have left parts of Your promise unclaimed.
I have lived satisfied in partial fulfillment,
settled in safe places,
content to camp where You called me to conquer.
Forgive me for the comfort that dulls calling,
for the procrastination that dresses itself as peace.
Forgive me for letting fear disguise itself as patience.
Wake me, Lord, from spiritual complacency.
Let me hear again Your question
“How long will you put off going in?”

You are patient but purposeful.
You do not force possession;
You invite it.
You give vision to those willing to walk it out.
Joshua sent men to map the land
to see, to write, to believe.
Faith must first see before it can seize.
You give dreams not to decorate the mind
but to drive the heart to action.

So, Lord,
send me to survey the unclaimed ground.
Show me what corners of calling remain untouched.
Show me the areas of obedience still waiting for surrender.
Give me courage to chart the future
and strength to walk into it.
Let me not be content with yesterday’s victories
when there is still land before me today.

You are the God who awakens faith from apathy.
You remind us that delay dishonors destiny.
You stir the church from rest to readiness.
You call the weary to rise again
and claim what Your Word has already promised.
You delight in motion born of trust,
in footsteps that follow Your voice.

So awaken me, Lord.
Breathe fire into dull faith.
Replace hesitation with hunger.
Let me move with holy urgency
not striving, but stepping forward in trust.
Let me take possession of joy, holiness, and peace
as gifts already granted through Christ.

You are the God who gives the land,
but You also command the march.
Let me not waste my inheritance through inaction.
Let me live awake to every opportunity of obedience.

In the name of Jesus,
the Greater Joshua,
who awakens the church to claim every promise of the Kingdom,
Amen.
