Tuesday Heavenly Father, Sovereign Lord,
You are the One who stretches out the heavens, who founded the earth and all that is within it. You are the Eternal, the Alpha and Omega, the Almighty King who reigns over all creation. “Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God” (Psalm 90:2). Your glory fills the earth, and Your majesty is beyond measure. We are in awe of Your greatness, and our hearts are humbled by the depth of Your wisdom and power.
Lord, we magnify Your name today. You alone are worthy of all honor and praise. “Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom” (Psalm 145:3). You are holy, beyond all comprehension, yet You desire to be near to us. You have chosen us, not because of our worth, but because of Your great love and grace. “The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18). How wonderful it is that the Creator of the universe desires an intimate relationship with each of us!
Father, You are the source of all wisdom and understanding. “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, or with the breadth of His hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance?” (Isaiah 40:12). Your understanding is infinite, and Your plans for us are beyond our comprehension. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Lord, You are the giver of all good things. You sustain us in every moment, and Your provision is abundant. “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (Psalm 24:1). You are our provider, and we trust that You will continue to guide us according to Your perfect will. Your ways are higher than ours, and we desire to walk in Your truth. “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8). May Your Holy Spirit continue to lead us, that we might live according to Your will.
Father, Your plan for our lives is far greater than anything we could ever imagine. “For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but My steadfast love shall not depart from you, and My covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you (Isaiah 54:10). Your plan for us is full of hope and promise, and we trust that Your timing is perfect. “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your love, O Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of Your hands” (Psalm 138:8).
I surrender my heart, my desires, and my life to You, knowing that Your plans are infinitely better than my own. Teach me to follow Your Spirit, to walk in humility, and to trust in Your perfect guidance. “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man” (Psalm 118:8). Help me to submit to Your will in all things, to seek Your kingdom first, and to live a life that brings You glory.
Lord, I ask that my life be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. Use me as an instrument of Your peace and a vessel for Your glory. May my actions reflect Your goodness, and may my heart beat in rhythm with Yours. “Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Your name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness” (Psalm 115:1). Let my life be a fragrant offering of worship to You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Savior, I pray. Amen.
