O Lord, our Shepherd and Sustainer,
In the quiet of this day, we seek the stillness of Your presence, For You have promised "In returning and rest you shall be saved in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." (Isaiah 30:15)
We come before You with open hearts, longing for the peace that only You can give. When the storms of uncertainty rage around us, Let us be anchored in Your truth, Remembering the sacred words "Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin?
The blood of Jesus whispers peace within." Lord, calm our restless thoughts and remove the anxieties that weigh upon us. Teach us to rest in the sufficiency of Your grace, For Your Word assures us "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." (Isaiah 26:3)
We lay our burdens before You, trusting that You are faithful. May our lives be a testimony of unshaken faith, Even when we do not understand Your ways. Let our song be one of trust and surrender "Be still, my soul the Lord is on thy side."
Father, grant us the strength to walk in peace, The wisdom to seek You above all things, And the courage to trust in Your unfailing love.
