O El Olam, Everlasting God (Genesis 21:33), You who dwell beyond the ages, beyond the rise and fall of kingdoms, beyond the grasp of time itself (Isaiah 40:28). Before the mountains were born, or the earth was formed, from everlasting to everlasting, You are God (Psalm 90:2). You are not moved by the passing winds of this world. You are not weakened by the passage of years. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Your covenant stands unbroken; Your mercy endures forever (Psalm 136:1).
El Olam, You have seen the generations rise and fall (Ecclesiastes 1:4), and yet Your faithfulness has never wavered (Lamentations 3:22–23). You have watched empires crumble into dust, but Your Kingdom shall never be shaken (Daniel 7:14). O Eternal God, anchor our fleeting lives to Your everlasting arms (Deuteronomy 33:27). Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). Set our hearts on things above not on what perishes, but on what is eternal (Colossians 3:1–2). You have written eternity into our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11), and yet we are so easily tangled in the temporary. Break our fascination with the dust of this world. Fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
El Olam, raise up a people who long not for earthly crowns, but for the imperishable crown You have promised to those who love You (1 Corinthians 9:25; James 1:12). Raise up a Church that looks not merely for survival but for Your soon coming (Revelation 22:20). Let us live as citizens of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28). Let us sing as pilgrims passing through, our hands loose to the things of earth, our hearts burning for the city whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:10).
O Everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6), remind us that we are dust, and yet in Christ, we are destined for glory (2 Corinthians 4:17). Hold us fast until that Day when faith becomes sight, and sorrow is no more (Revelation 21:4). Until then, we run we endure we trust not because we are strong, but because You, El Olam, are everlasting and Your promises are sure.
O Ancient of Days, receive our lives as offerings of gratitude, our worship as incense before Your throne (Revelation 5:8), our cries as songs of the redeemed (Revelation 7:9–10). All glory, honor, and praise belong to You, El Olam, forever and ever. Amen.
