Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of joy, knowing that today is a gift from You. As Your Word says in Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” We choose to rejoice today, no matter what circumstances may come our way. Like the song says, "I'm 'bout to have a good day, no matter what they say." We trust in You, Father, and Your perfect plan for us.

The sun is shining down on us today, Lord, and as we feel its warmth, we are reminded of Your love that shines even brighter. Your Word tells us in Malachi 4:2, “But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays.” May Your light fill our hearts and guide our steps as we walk in faith.

Lord, we declare today that we are living in the present, not looking back at what was or could have been. Like the birds singing praise around us, we, too, will lift our voices in gratitude. You, the Creator of the universe, know us by name (Isaiah 43:1). You are our constant and faithful companion, and we rest in that truth. "So it's a good day," because we are Your children, and You are for us.

We thank You for how far You’ve brought us, Father. We remember the days when we felt lost and low, like a rug on the floor, but now we stand strong, knowing that You are the one who turns old things new. Isaiah 42:9 says, “See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.” Thank You for making all things new, for giving us a fresh start today.

We hear the church saying, “Won’t He do it?” and we know that You will. You are faithful, and You have our back. As Romans 8:31 declares, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” That’s why we can sing and declare with confidence, "I'm 'bout to have a good day."

Father, we thank You for answering our prayers and for the many blessings You’ve already given us. You know what we need, and You provide in Your perfect timing (Matthew 6:8). We have all we need in You, and for that, we are so grateful. "Everything I prayed for didn't come in late, I got all I need and I didn't have to wait."

So today, we lift our voices and give You all the glory, knowing that it is a good day—because we are in Your hands. Like Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 1:9, “God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” We are called by You, and that’s why today is good.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
