Jesus,
You revealed Your glory to Peter, James, and John
a glimpse of Your divine light shining through the veil of the ordinary.
I long to see You as You truly are
radiant, holy, powerful beyond all measure.
Yet, I struggle in my human weakness,
confused by the suffering You foretold,
fearful of the trials that lie ahead.
Help me to hold fast to the vision of Your glory,
even when the path is dark and the journey hard.
You call me to listen to You, the Beloved Son,
to obey Your voice above all others.
When doubts arise and voices compete,
help me to choose You
to quiet my soul and hear Your words of life and truth.
I come burdened by fears of failure, rejection, and the unknown.
Yet You show me that even the smallest faith, like a mustard seed,
can move mountains.
Grow my faith, Lord
make it strong enough to overcome every obstacle,
trusting wholly in Your power and grace.
You healed the boy whom others could not save,
demonstrating Your compassion for the broken and desperate.
I bring You my own brokenness
my fears, my doubts, my weaknesses.
Heal me, restore me, renew my hope.
Teach me to walk in humility,
to follow You faithfully,
even when the world misunderstands,
even when the journey is lonely, when this life is a rollercoaster I just can not get off of.
Jesus, You are my light and my salvation.
In Your presence, I find courage;
in Your love, I find strength.
Transform me by Your glory,
and lead me on the path of faith and obedience.
In Your glorious and loving name,
