My Lord Jesus,
You send me out
not with promises of ease,
but with power and purpose.
I feel the weight of this calling.
I tremble at the thought of rejection,
persecution, loneliness.

Yet You say,
“Do not be afraid.”
Help me believe it deep in my bones.
When family turns away,
when friends question,
when the world scoffs
remind me You have overcome all.

You promise Your Spirit will speak through me,
Your presence will never leave me.
So I ask give me Your words when mine fail,
give me boldness when fear rises.
Let me be a messenger of hope,
a bearer of Your Kingdom’s light,
even in dark places.

You warn that following You means division.
That loyalty to You might cost me relationships, comfort, security.
Do not let me shrink back.
Make me ready to bear the cross,
to love even when it’s costly,
to stand firm when the storms come.

You remind me,
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one falls to the ground apart from your Father.”
Even when I feel forgotten, lost, insignificant
You hold me in Your hands.
Teach me to trust Your sovereign care
above all else.

Help me choose You over all
family, comfort, approval, even life itself.
Because You are worth it.
You are my true treasure,
my refuge,
my Savior.

Jesus, I surrender my fears, my doubts, my hesitations.
Send me out, equipped and unafraid.
Make me a faithful witness,
a servant of Your truth and love.
No matter the cost,
no matter the opposition,
I will follow You.

In the powerful name of the One who sends,
who calls, who saves Jesus Christ.

Amen
