Lord of light,
You commanded the lamps to be set in place,
flames burning toward the lampstand,
shining across the holy place.
No corner left in darkness,
no shadow where Your presence dwells.
You are the God who speaks,
“Let there be light,”
and the darkness cannot overcome it.

O God,
light my lamp again.
When my flame flickers low,
breathe on me with Your Spirit.
Set my life in its place,
so that all I am points toward You.
Make me a light in Your sanctuary,
not to be admired,
but to reveal Your glory.
Shine through me into the hidden corners of my heart,
into the weary places of my home,
into the broken shadows of this world.
Let me burn steady until You call me home.

Then, Lord, You dedicated the Levites,
a people set apart to serve.
You cleansed them,
sprinkled them with water,
placed their hands upon the offering.
They stood before You,
not as their own,
but as belonging wholly to You.

Father, cleanse me as You cleansed them.
Wash away the stain of sin,
scrub the dust from my soul.
I lay my hands on Christ,
the greater offering,
the sacrifice without blemish.
In Him, I find forgiveness.
In Him, I find consecration.
In Him, I am set apart for You.

The Levites were given as a gift to Aaron,
to serve the tabernacle,
to bear the weight of daily worship.
So too, Lord, make me a gift to Your kingdom.
Let my life serve the work of Christ,
my High Priest forever.
Whether through hidden labor
or visible ministry,
let me be useful to Your house.
Give me joy in bearing burdens,
strength in lifting others,
patience in daily faithfulness.

You told the Levites their time of service,
their season to labor,
their season to rest.
Lord, teach me to trust Your seasons.
When You call me to work,
let me not grow weary.
When You call me to rest,
let me not resist.
All my days belong to You
appointed, numbered, redeemed.

So here I am, Lord,
lamp lit,
life consecrated,
heart surrendered.
Let me shine before You.
Let me serve beside You.
Let me rest in You.
And when all is said and done,
let my life be remembered as this
a small flame burning faithfully
before the face of God.

In the name of Jesus,
the Light of the world,
Amen.
