O Adonay,
LORD, Master of Heaven and Earth (Genesis 15:2; Psalm 97:5),
the One before whom every knee must bow (Philippians 2:10),
the One who holds rightful claim to every breath we take (Romans 14:8).

You have ransomed us not with silver or gold,
but with the precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18–19).
We are not our own.
We were bought at a price (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

O Master of mercy,
You do not rule with a tyrant's hand,
but with a shepherd's staff (John 10:11),
a wounded side (John 19:34),
a risen crown (Revelation 19:12).

You lead us beside still waters (Psalm 23:2),
You bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1),
You wash the feet of the unworthy (John 13:5),
and You call Your servants "friends" (John 15:15).

Yet still, You are Lord.

You are the King before whom the seraphim veil their faces (Isaiah 6:2–3),
the Commander of angel armies (Joshua 5:14),
the righteous Judge of all the earth (Genesis 18:25).

O Adonay,
teach us what it means to say with our whole being:
"Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening." (1 Samuel 3:9)

Break the chains of our prideful rebellion.
Tear down every false throne we have built in our hearts.
Let there be no corner of our lives where Your rule is not absolute, Your reign not adored (Luke 9:23).

We bow at Your feet, O Adonay.
Command us, and we will go.
Send us, and we will run (Isaiah 6:8).
Correct us, and we will repent.
Love us, and we will worship with tears of joy.

Be Master of our days,
Master of our dreams,
Master of our families,
Master of our secret thoughts,
Master of our future,
Master of our hearts.

O Sovereign LORD,
bend us low until Christ alone is exalted (Galatians 2:20).

Rule over Your people with grace and power,
until every breath, every heartbeat, every act of our lives cries out
"Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father!" (Philippians 2:11)

Until the day when faith becomes sight and we cast our crowns at Your feet (Revelation 4:10–11),
we will serve You, we will love You, we will live for You.

You alone are Adonay
our LORD, our Master, our King, forever and ever.

Amen.
