Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your unwavering love. Your Word declares that those who trust in You shall be like trees planted by the waters, steady and strong (Jeremiah 17:7-8). We hold on to this promise today, knowing that You are our rock and our refuge.

Lord, we place our lives in Your hands, as Psalm 37 says: “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture” (Psalm 37:3). We trust You to lead us on the path of righteousness and fill our hearts with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May Your will be done in our lives, as You are faithful to guide us.

We choose to “delight ourselves in the Lord” (Psalm 37:4), for we know that You will guide us on the path that is best for us. As we seek Your Kingdom first, we trust that You will provide all that we need according to Your riches in glory (Matthew 6:33, Philippians 4:19). Lord, grant us wisdom to make choices that honor You and bring us closer to the fullness of Your plans for us.

We pray that You would give us patience and strength when the wicked seem to prosper. “Fret not yourselves because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers” (Psalm 37:1). We know that in due time, You will vindicate us and bring justice. Your Word assures us that the meek will inherit the earth (Psalm 37:11), and we trust that You will fulfill Your promises.

Father, we surrender our anxieties and worries to You, for You have said, “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act” (Psalm 37:5). We place our burdens at Your feet and trust that You are working all things together for Your glory and our good (Romans 8:28).

We ask that You help us to “wait patiently for the Lord” (Psalm 37:7). We believe that Your timing is perfect, and though the circumstances may seem uncertain, we know You are in control. Strengthen our faith in You, and let our hope in Your promises be unwavering.

Lord, protect our hearts from bitterness and unforgiveness. Help us to “turn away from anger and forsake wrath” (Psalm 37:8). Fill us with love, compassion, and grace toward others, just as You have shown toward us.

Finally, we thank You for Your unfailing love and Your constant presence. We trust that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we are confident that You will continue to work mightily in our lives. May we always find our refuge in You, our strength in You, and our peace in You. Help us to share with others the beauty that is the gospel, Your story, of Your love and our redemption.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
