Lord God,
You are the Righteous Rewarder,
the One who divides the inheritance with justice
and remembers every act of faithful obedience.
When the land was measured out,
You appointed boundaries for Judah first
the tribe of praise.
For praise always goes before possession,
and worship opens the way for inheritance.
You honored Caleb’s faith again,
granting him Hebron,
the mountain once filled with giants.
And through diligence and courage,
he drove them out,
just as You promised.

You are the God who rewards diligent obedience.
Not half-hearted, not delayed,
but steady, enduring, faithful obedience.
You bless the ones who rise each day
to do what You’ve commanded,
even when no one else notices.
You delight in those who follow through.
The land was not inherited by wishes,
but by walking the ground You gave.
Step by step, tribe by tribe,
Your promises became their possession.

I confess, Lord,
that I want blessing without battle,
inheritance without effort.
I rejoice in promises
but resist persistence.
Forgive me for treating Your Word like theory
instead of command.
Forgive me for leaving parts of the land unclaimed
for stopping short of full obedience.
Teach me to labor faithfully,
not for gain, but for glory
Yours, not mine.

You are the God who sees every faithful step.
Every surveyor’s boundary line,
every conquered hill,
every cleared field
none of it escapes Your notice.
Even when obedience feels ordinary,
You are writing history through it.
You reward not speed, but steadfastness.
And though others may forget who fought which battle,
You never forget who obeyed Your call.

Lord, make me like Caleb’s daughter, Achsah,
who boldly asked for springs in addition to land.
Teach me to ask largely of You,
for You are not stingy with Your blessings.
Give me both dry ground to work
and living water to sustain.
Let my diligence be drenched in dependence,
and my labor fueled by grace.

You are the God who rewards diligent obedience.
You measure not by size of victory
but by faithfulness in the fight.
You honor those who finish their assignment,
who plow their portion with patience,
who hold fast to Your Word when the work feels endless.
You remind me that every field cultivated for Your name
becomes holy ground.

So, Lord,
help me to claim my inheritance fully
not just the promise of salvation,
but the joy of sanctification.
Let me work what You’ve given,
tend what You’ve entrusted,
and finish what You’ve begun in me.
Let the boundaries of my life
be marked by obedience and praise.

You are faithful, Lord,
and Your rewards are sure.
Every acre of grace is worth the labor,
for it is You who dwell within the land.

In the name of Jesus,
the Greater Joshua,
who perfectly obeyed and now shares His inheritance with His people,
Amen.
