O Lord, our safe Place,

As the week draws to a close, we pause in Your presence, For You have said "Stand at the crossroads and look ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls." (Jeremiah 6:16)

Grant us hearts that reflect on Your goodness, That we may enter into Your Sabbath rest with joy. Let our souls sing as we remember "Day by day, and with each passing moment, strength I find to meet my trials here." We lay aside the worries of yesterday, The burdens of today, And the anxieties of tomorrow. For You have called us to rest in You, To cast our cares upon You, Because You care for us. (1 Peter 5:7)

Renew us, O God, in body, mind, and spirit. Let this time of reflection draw us nearer to You. May we enter the coming week with fresh faith, Resting in the promise of Your abiding love.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
