O Lord, my life, my hope, my joy—my never-failing Friend! From the day You called me to Yourself, You have been my help, my refuge, and my strength. You have never forsaken me, and I know You will sustain me to the very end. Hold me fast, O God, and let me not be shaken.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.” (Psalm 28:7, ESV)
The world chases after prosperity, wealth, and fleeting pleasures, yet their hearts remain restless. But, Lord, I do not seek the riches of this life; I long for the radiance of Your presence! Let the light of Your face shine upon me, O God, for Your favor is greater than all the treasures of the earth.
“There are many who say, ‘Who will show us some good?’ Lift up the light of your face upon us, O Lord!” (Psalm 4:6, ESV)
Fill my heart, Lord, with a joy that is deeper, truer, and more lasting than anything this world can offer. Let my soul overflow with the gladness of knowing You, rejoicing not in possessions, but in the riches of Your grace.
“You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.” (Psalm 4:7, ESV)
And when the day is done, when the night falls upon me, I will lay down in perfect peace, knowing that You alone are my refuge. No fear shall trouble me, no enemy shall shake me, for I am held in the arms of the Almighty.
“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” (Psalm 4:8, ESV)
O Lord, my righteous King, my sovereign Defender, I ask for nothing more than the shelter of Your presence. Guard me, keep me, and let me rest in You alone.
