O Holy God,
You do not accept what is blemished.
You do not delight in half hearted offerings
or sacrifices given from duty without devotion.
You call for what is whole,
what is pure,
what is freely given from a willing heart.

And I tremble, Lord,
for too often my worship is blemished.
My prayers come distracted,
my service half hearted,
my love conditional.
I offer You moments, not my all;
leftovers, not firstfruits.
And still You receive me with mercy.

You remind me, O Lord,
that the offering You seek is not perfection of form,
but sincerity of faith.
You have given what is unblemished
Your Son, the spotless Lamb.
He is the pure gift I could never bring.
Through Him, my flawed devotion becomes fragrant.
Through Him, my heart is made acceptable.

Teach me, Father,
to bring You offerings worthy of Your name.
Let gratitude replace guilt,
and reverence replace routine.
Make every act of service an altar,
every word of kindness a sacrifice,
every breath a testimony
that the Holy One still dwells among His people.

And when I falter again,
remind me of the Lamb who never failed,
whose perfection covers every imperfection in me.
Receive my worship, Lord
not because it is perfect,
but because He is.

Amen.
