Abba Father,

Thank You for this very moment—
This minute, this hour, this day.
You handcrafted it just for me,
Not by chance, but in love.
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).

Lord, I choose to pause.
To see, to breathe, to notice the heaven-etched beauty in the ordinary.
To dare to glimpse eternity in a child’s laughter, a warm sunrise,
Or the quiet stillness where Your Spirit whispers peace.

Life is not perfect—
And neither am I.
But I don’t have to be.
You are perfect, and You are perfecting me.
“He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

The noise of this world is loud, Lord—
Bills, deadlines, grief, fear, the daily struggles that shout for attention.
But You call me to something higher,
To fix my eyes not on what is seen,
But on what is unseen—eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

Help me today, God,
To shut out the chaos and tune in to Your presence.
To treasure the gift of life, not because it's easy,
But because it's sacred.
Because You gave it, and You are in it.

I ask myself:
If today were my last, would these struggles matter?
Would I worry about the same things?
Would I love harder? Forgive quicker? Laugh louder?

Let me not be controlled by my problems,
My schedule, my insecurities, or the world’s opinions.
But instead, let me be moved—ruled—
By Your love alone.
“The love of Christ controls us” (2 Corinthians 5:14).
Let Your love lead me to bless, to serve, to shine.

Not perfect—never perfect—
But being perfected, shaped into the image of Christ
By grace, through faith, in Your hands.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works…” (Ephesians 2:10).

Today might be my last day here, Lord—
Only You know the number of my days (Psalm 139:16).
So help me live it fully.
Awaken my soul to the gift of now.
To hug deeply. Speak kindly. Live gratefully.
To cherish those I love, and the moments I have.

Silence the background noise, Jesus.
Let me rest in the joy of simply being alive.
Let me live today for You and through You.

In Your holy name,

Amen.
