Father of Lights, from whom every good gift comes,
We awaken with thanksgiving in our hearts,
For Your Word reminds us
"Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind!" (Psalm 107:8)
Today, we choose to count our blessings,
To lift our voices in praise and declare
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits!" (Psalm 103:2)
Lord, may our gratitude overflow into acts of service,
That we may be a blessing to those around us.
Let us not hoard the gifts You have given,
But use them to bring light and joy to others.
May our hands be open in generosity,
Our words seasoned with kindness,
And our hearts eager to share Your love.
As the hymn reminds us
"Count your blessings, name them one by one!"
Let us rejoice in Your provision and be faithful stewards of all we have received.
May we be known by our love,
And may our lives reflect the goodness of our God.
