God of Integrity,
You were with Joseph
in the pit,
in the house,
and in the prison.

Your presence didn’t remove the pain,
but it gave purpose to the pain.
You didn’t spare him from injustice,
but You stayed with him through it.

Lord, that’s what I need.
Not always deliverance,
but presence.
Not always a way out,
but strength to stand in.

Joseph prospered in slavery.
He served faithfully.
He earned trust.
He lived with integrity
when no one was watching
but You.

God, teach me to live like that
faithful in small things,
holy in hidden places,
trustworthy when power tempts,
and pure when no one would know otherwise.

Potiphar’s wife came with seduction
daily.
Relentless.
Whispers that fed desire.
But Joseph said no.
Not just once,
but again and again.

“How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”

He didn’t just fear consequences
he feared dishonoring You.

Lord, give me that heart.
To see sin as betrayal of Your love.
To resist not just for purity’s sake,
but for Your name’s sake.
To flee from what others flirt with,
and run into Your safety.

Still he was accused.
Still he was slandered.
Still he was thrown into prison.

Lord, I confess
it hurts when obedience leads to suffering.
When doing the right thing costs reputation.
When standing for truth lands me in a cell.

But You were there.
You did not forget him.
You stayed with him.
You gave him favor,
even behind bars.

Because no prison can keep out Your presence.

You are the God
who stays near to the falsely accused,
who prospers the soul even in confinement,
who works through wounds
and turns dungeons into stages for deliverance.

So I offer You my integrity.
Not for applause.
Not for reward.
But because You are worthy.

And I offer You my prison seasons
the places where obedience seems to be punished.
Where I sit and wait
for vindication that hasn’t come.
Where no one knows
how hard it is to be faithful.

But You know.
And You are with me.

In the name of Jesus,
the Righteous One,
falsely accused,
yet exalted to the right hand of God
Amen.
