Alpha and Omega, You are the God of flames that burns without consuming,
You turn desert ground into holy ground,
and wandering shepherds into sent ones.

Shoes off, heart bowed,
I hear You call from a fire that needs no fuel.
You are not a relic of the past,
but the God who is
faithful to the fathers,
near to the children,
present tense forever.

You have seen the misery of Your people,
heard their groaning,
and come down to deliver them.
You are moved not by their worthiness,
but by Your covenant love.

I bring You my hesitations
my smallness,
my “Who am I?”,
my “What if they won’t listen?”
Answer me not with explanations,
but with Yourself.
Let “I AM” be enough to still my fear.

Teach me that mission begins in worship,
that courage flows from knowing Your Name,
that calling is sustained not by skill,
but by presence.

You send me back to the place I once fled,
reminding me that redemption often starts
in the same land where wounds were made.
Burn in me a fire that is not consumed,
so I might speak for You,
carry Your message,
and see captives set free.

In the name of Jesus,
the greater Moses,
who calls us by name
and sends us with power,
Amen.
