Father in Heaven,
You have called me to believe
to stake my soul on the truth
that Jesus is the Christ.
And in that belief,
I have been born again
not of flesh,
but of Your Spirit.
And if I love You,
I must love Your children too.
Even when it’s hard.
Even when it hurts.
Because love for You
and love for them
can never be separated.
You said love is this
to obey You.
To walk in Your ways.
And Lord, Your commands are not burdens
they are freedom.
You have made me an overcomer.
Not because I am strong,
but because You are faithful.
My faith tiny and trembling
is the victory that overcomes the world.
Jesus, You came by water and by blood.
Not only to be baptized,
but to bleed for me.
You sealed my salvation with Your sacrifice.
And the Spirit testifies still
the Spirit is truth.
God, I receive Your testimony.
I will not call You a liar.
I believe.
And I know deep in my bones
that this is the testimony
You gave me eternal life,
and this life is in Your Son.
I have the Son.
So I have life.
Not someday now.
And in this truth,
I stand confident.
When I pray in Your will,
You hear me.
And if You hear me,
then I know You will answer.
Let my prayers be bold,
pure, unselfish, Kingdom shaped.
Give me the heart to intercede
for my brother caught in sin,
for the lost still reaching in the dark.
And when I see the world
so broken, so deceived, so full of lies
remind me
I am from You.
I am protected by the One born of God.
And the evil one cannot touch me.
Jesus, You have come.
You have given me understanding.
You have revealed the true and living God.
You are that God.
You are eternal life itself.
So keep me, Father.
Keep me from every idol
from every love that rivals Yours,
from every lesser thing that tries to claim my heart.
Let me worship You in truth.
Let me live in the light.
Let me finish well.
I am Yours.
Forever.
